The goal of this web-site is to highlight the research projects of the students in teacher Dianne Pace’s 8th grade US History and 7th grade Texas History classrooms. The students will present their own unique takes on their home, Jasper, Texas. Jasper is the county seat of Jasper County, one of the original 23 counties of the Republic of Texas. Nestled deep in the Piney Woods of deep East Texas, Jasper celebrates its history and contributions to the development of the great state of Texas. Look around and enjoy!
